A country of many tastes

We have three tours to unforgettable Norway! Our first is “Norway in a Nutshell” (perfect for the first time visitor to Norway) and an ideal a taster of this spectacular country. Secondly we’ve a 7night tour based in the Telemark region with visits to its two unique and fascinating attractions; incredible canal and locks and the Vemork Industrial Museum, best known for its exciting WW2 history when Norwegian forces stopped the Germans developing an atomic bomb from heavy water produced there.

Thirdly arriving by ship at the beautiful and colourful town of Bergen “gateway to the fjords” and departing from pretty Haugesund “birthplace of Norway” is our Norway “premier package“ based for four nights in Hardangerfjord. Breathtaking landscapes of mountains, glaciers and fjords and at its most beautiful in the spring when the fruit trees, which fill the lower parts of the steep fjord hillsides are in full bloom. A “must see” on any visit to this region is a visit to the incredible Tyssedal Hydropower Station where a waterfall was funnelled into pipes to create energy.
